It is always a good thing when both businesses and individuals have the opportunity to give back to their neighbors and others in the surrounding community. This is why we at The Back Store proudly announce our association with the SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Foundation and the Glennon Guild. This amazing guild, made up of 150 women, serve to meet the needs of children cared for during their stay at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. We are honored to have this opportunity to help the families of those who are often dealing with the impact of complex medical issues.
How It Works
From October 1 through October 29, Cardinal Glennon cards will be available for purchase at our stores for a $50 donation. For this $50 donation, cardholders are eligible for 20% off our regularly priced merchandise throughout our stores and 300 other retailers, starting on October 20 and running through October 29. Along with the card comes a detailed list of all the retailers participating in the event, including their location and type of business. Simply show the card at all the participating retailers during the 10-day shopping period and save 20% at each location.
How You Help
With your $50 donation along with donations from others, the proceeds will allow SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital to assist children and their families in so many ways. In 2016 alone, generous citizens and sponsors raised almost $220,000 to help the hospital provide the compassionate care needed by their littlest patients. Some of the past donations provided funds to remodel the inpatient cancer unit to accommodate sleeper sofas for the parents of sick children and a new playroom; the purchase of a new ultrasound machine, along with heart and lung monitoring equipment; the funding of treatment programs for children with autism spectrum disorders, and so much more.
